Located in Miyapur/Madinaguda, Hyderabad, Yogini Institute of Performing Arts is dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Kathak in its purest classical forms for more than 15 years in Hyderabad. We are one of the few institutions in the region providing a holistic education across all major Kathak Gharanas, ensuring our students graduate as versatile and well-rounded artists.

Our Multi-Gharana Pedagogy

While many schools focus on a single style, YIPA provides a balanced curriculum that incorporates the unique strengths of the three pillar traditions:

• Lucknow Gharana: Emphasizing grace, Bhaav (expression), and delicate Anga (movements).

• Jaipur Gharana: Focusing on powerful Tatkar (footwork), complex Layakari, and technical brilliance.

• Banaras Gharana: Highlighting the spiritual essence and the distinct use of Natwari bols.
